Most days you’ll find me on a sideline. I run a sports photography business that puts me at Fort Wayne FC matches and high school games across the area — 100+ published galleries and counting.
The photography grew out of 20 years in technology — intern to developer, architect, and now Senior Software Engineering Manager at Sweetwater. Along the way I discovered that the thing I love most isn’t any one discipline. It’s the act of building itself. So I kept building: a car detailing company — Pixel Perfect Detailing — and a web development practice alongside the camera.
The thread across all of it is the same instinct: ship the work, then sweat the polish. Whether that’s a software platform serving thousands of musicians, a thousand-frame game gallery delivered before breakfast, or a paint-corrected hood that finally looks how it did the day someone drove it off the lot.

Full background →I’ve been building for the web since 2005 — across a stack that stretches from COBOL on a mainframe to Kubernetes in GCP. That breadth isn’t accidental. Working across Angular, React, .NET, PHP, GoLang, and a handful of CMS platforms gave me a foundation that makes architecture decisions easier and BS-detection faster.
At Aptera (Core BTS) I moved from developer to architect to team lead, finishing out in a .NET + Azure environment while mentoring the wider consulting bench. At Sweetwater I lead an engineering team on Docker, Kubernetes, Redis, and GCP, and I own WCAG accessibility remediation across a high-traffic e-commerce platform.
The part I keep coming back to: coaching. Helping a developer level up, or helping a team find their rhythm — that’s the work that sticks.
